baBy dAriUS iS EigHt mOnthS oLd...!

I always get comments like "he's only 8 mths? ohhh...he's so big..." and its really a compliment to me...dat means i've been doing a good job in taking of darius...but i still feel guilty all the time...
i feel i'm not giving enuf...i feel i should have done better...i duno wats wrong but i seem to find fault with myself all the time...

i feel guilty dat i deprive darius of being loved by his extended family...the attention he could get from his uncles and aunties, grandparents, great grandmother, granduncles and aunties...etc
so i try to make it up to him by giving him ALL my attention and love...
yet...i dun wish to neglect hubby...but...i hope to have my private time...then....~~~~~~
i could only pray for a better day after tomorrows...

Anyway its great dat Darius continues to develop new milestones...

* weighs 23 lbs 13 oz / 10.79 kgs

* stands supported

* able to feed himself small pieces of finger food

* manages to get back to sitting position when he is on fours

* has 8 teeth now!

* plays independently and purposefully with his toys

* can flip pages of the baby board books

* loves his sippy cup...n likes drinking water

* more sociable now and will smile at strangers instead of greeting them with WAH~~~~

* sometimes sleeps on his tummy

* loves eating bread

oOops! mY baby is sick... :(

Weather: Fair 11°C

Poor Darius...been having diarrhea for the past 2 weeks now...
its all mummy's fault...its definitely my negligence in taking care of him well...
he has lost 200 grams over the pass 2 weeks...now i finally understand...
the most important things to a mummy is dat her baby eats well, poos well and sleeps well...
with the diarrhea, Darius isn't doing any of the above well...

his appetite drop...coz he can only have rice cereal for now...no more fancy menus for him...
he will wake up in the middle of the nite crying for a diaper change or comfort from pain...
how i wish im the one having the diarrhea...i cant imagine his little body going thru all dat...

but one thing im glad...he's still active n playful...
